Sometimes looking for an artist signature in an Hermes scarf is almost a game. They are hidden in the intricated designs, sometimes just the initials, but they are always there.
The first time i saw Oliver signature I was quite surprised. Most of the designers are french and seeing an american name intrigued me. I started my research and i found out an intresting story behind this man.
Kermit Oliver is texas mailman, very humble and talented painter, the only African-american artist to ever be hired by hermes.
